Ayushmaan Bharat
at Kamal Eye Clinic

Kamal Eye Clinic is an authorized centre for providing treatment under the government public health insurance scheme of “Ayushman Bharat”. Patients who are enrolled in “Ayushman Bharat”, can get treatment (including surgeries eg. Cataract etc) done at Kamal Eye Clinic.

To avail the benefits of the “Ayushman Bharat” services, patients must bring the following documents when they visit Kamal Eye Clinic:

  1. Aadhaar Card.
  2. Ration Card
  3. Golden Card
  4. Birth Certificate (for child less than 2-3yrs)

The above documents are required for registering the patient on the “Ayushman Bharat” website, and getting the pre-authorization for the procedure/surgery from the concerned government authorities. Once the pre-authorization is obtained, then the procedure/surgery can be performed for the patient at Kamal Eye Clinic.

Empanelment and Cashless

To provide quality health care to our patients, Kamal Eye Clinic provides “cashless” treatment. Under this arrangement the patient can undergo treatment at Kamal Eye Clinic, without making any payment. All treatment expenses are taken care by the TPA of the patient’s Health Insurance Company.

This allows the patient to receive quality health care at Kamal Eye Clinic, and later claim the treatment expenses from the employer. The amount paid by the patient to Kamal Eye Clinic, is reimbursed to them by their employer, subject to submission of appropriate bills and documents with their claim.

  • Ultrasound Immersion A-scan

    It is a device used to accurately measure the axial length of the eye necessary for Intra-Ocular lens implant power calculation.
  • Centurion Phaco system with Ozyl handpiece

    It is a device used for Cataract Extraction by Phacoemulsification using Torsional technology, which is the safest and latest technology currently available. It is very effective for removing hard, brown cataracts common amidst Indian eyes.
  • Yag Laser 1800 Yc

    This is a device used to remove PCO from intra-ocular lens, commonly known as “after cataract”. It is also used to perform LASER Iridotomy in eyes that have Glaucoma.
  • Optical Biometer

    It is a non-contact optical based biometry method to measure the length of eyeball with utmost accuracy. This allows intra-ocular lens implant with maximum precision.

Cornea

  • Specular Microscopy

    It is a device used to measure Corneal Endothelial Cell Count.
  • Corneal Topography

    It is a device to map the surface of Cornea. It is indispensible in diagnosis of Ectatic Corneal diseases like Caratoconus.
  • Anterior Segment OCT

    It is an OCT scan showing cross-section of cornea to pickup maximum corneal diseases and dystrophies.
  • Pachymeter

    It is a machine used to measure the corneal thickness.

Glaucoma

  • Goldmann Applanation Tonometer

    This device is considered to be the “gold standard” for measurement of intra-ocular pressure.
  • Pachymeter

    Device to measure central corneal thickness which is an absolute must for determining Corrected IOP.

    This device is used to measure the structure of the angle of the eye necessary to categorize patients into the type of Glaucoma they have.

    Device used to chart the visual field of the patient.

    Device used to chart the visual field of the patient.

    Device used to analyze the Retinal nerve fibre layer thickness.

    It is aportable handheld device to measure intraocular pressure.
  • Portable Head-mounted Elisar Visual Field Analyzer

    This is a visual field analyzer used for perimetry in patients who are physically challenged/bed-ridden.
  • Cyclocryopexy

    It is the method of treating intractable glaucoma and preventing painful blind eye.
  • YAG Laser Iridotomy

    It is a laser treatment for angle closure and narrow angle glaucoma.

Vitreoretinal

  • Ultrasound B-Scan

    It is an imaging device used to study anatomical structure of the posterior part of the eye.
  • TRC-Dx 50 Fundus Camera

    It is a device used to image the Retina and the optic nerve head as well as capture images during the Fundus Fluorscien Angiography.
  • 3D Spectral OCT

    It is a very high end device used to image and study the posterior pole of the Retina. It is indispensable in the diagnosis management and follow up of diseases like CSR, Diabetic Retinopathy, Age related Macular degeneration, Macular hole and Macular edema from any other cause.
  • Retinal Green Laser

    It is a device used to perform LASER on the Retina.
